Your first class
Our classes are designed to suit everyone, from beginners to experienced reformer Pilates practitioners. If you're new to reformer Pilates, we recommend starting with Beginners class. This is a slower-paced group session that focuses on individual needs, helping you build a strong foundation in our method and feel comfortable on the reformer. BEFORE CLASS Studio Safety | Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the start of your first class. This time is important for settling in and ensuring your comfort and safety. Arriving late may mean rescheduling. We have a communal changing area, so we ask that you bring minimal personal belongings to keep the space clear. We operate a 10 minute latecomer policy for all classes, so anyone who arrives after their class has begun will not be admitted into class. Please note that there is no exception to this rule. This policy is in place to ensure classes start on time and that you get the benefits of a full workout. It’s also there to prevent injury and to be mindful of the trainer & other participants in the class. What to Wear | Wear clothes that allow for free movement—think comfortable and stretchy. We recommend comfortable fitness clothing, socks must be worn within the studio. What to Bring | Please bring a water bottle; our studio has filtered water available. Arrival | Arrive 5 minutes early to get familiar with the studio, meet your instructor, and learn about the equipment. Our studio is a shoe-free zone, with designated areas to leave your footwear as you enter. Cleaning Equipment | After class, you'll be asked to clean your reformer and any props with the provided eco-friendly wipes, ensuring the space is ready for the next person. DURING YOUR CLASS Adjustments | Our teachers will provide verbal and occasional hands-on adjustments to help you with your form, along with different options to all exercises. If you prefer not to receive hands-on adjustments, just let your instructor know before class begins. Also, make sure to inform your teacher of any injuries or limitations so they can provide suitable modifications. Phones | To help everyone focus fully on their class, we ask that phones be left on silent, face down, and out of use during class. If you need to keep an eye on your phone for a personal reason, let the instructor know before the session. AFTER CLASS Studio Amenities | Please note that our studio does not have showers on site. However, we do have a large double toilet if you need to get changed. We're here to make your experience enjoyable and rewarding. If you have any questions, feel free to drop us a message.
